2020 China Education Economics academic annual meeting held in Shenzhen

<p style="line-height: 2em;">From November 7 to 8, the academic annual meeting of education economics branch of China Education Society in 2020, sponsored by education economics branch of China Education Society and organized by higher education research center of South University of science and technology, opened in South University of science and technology. Professor Chen Yuehong, Dean of School of Humanities and social sciences of South University of science and technology, chairman of the ninth Council of educational economics branch of Chinese society of education, and Professor Du Yuhong, Department of education of Beijing Normal University, delivered welcome speeches respectively. Henry Levin, the famous economist of Columbia University, held the annual conference of distance education.</p><p style="line-height: 2em;">Professor Wang Shanmai, honorary chairman of education economics branch, member of National Education Advisory Committee, School of economics and business administration of Beijing Normal University, Professor Sun Zhijun, vice chairman of School of economics and business administration of Beijing Normal University, and more than 20 teachers and students of education economics of Beijing Normal University attended the meeting. The theme of this academic annual meeting is "Research on China's educational economics in the new era: review and prospect", which lasts for one and a half days. More than 150 Representatives from 25 provinces and cities, more than 90 universities, institutes and scientific research institutions participated offline, and more than 500 teachers and students participated online. More than 150 academic papers were collected, and more than 60 scholars presented wonderful speeches.</p><p style="line-height: 2em;">The delegates at the meeting held in-depth discussions and exchanges on such hot topics as education investment and education finance, education cost and tuition, education and labor market, education industry and market, education system reform and system design, student funding and shadow education.</p><p><br/></p>
